I haven't been on here much, because I'm only quasi-important in STK, not in M.Pire or anywhere else in general really.

The M.Pire leadership had to make a pretty tough decision, but I can understand why it went the way it did.

The alliance assets that were moved out over the last couple of days were the culmination of work of hundreds of people, putting thousands of hours of their playtime to make life more fun for everyone.

We could have said "Screw You" and sat and fought it out but what would that gain? Some E-Honor? I'm all about fighting the good fight, but after a day of anger and disbelief I realized it was the right thing to do for our alliance.

Everyone can sit around and throw all the rocks they want but M.Pire only had enough POS fuel for a couple more days at the most, and if we would have fought it out we would have still lost based on POS warfare.

Then everything that the M.Pire members busted their humps for would be stuck in stations when the soverignity switched.

Is E-honor important? Yeah, it is to an extent. But I learned when ASCN got kicked out of Feythabolis that "Fighting the good fight" and losing everything sure is a ***** when you're ninja ratting in a Caracal because you've lost every single asset in enemy stations.

So why fight it out? Who are we supposed to be trying to impress? The people that are causing the most to-do about it are the Goons. There are people that I like in the goons (That I still can't believe they joined) but for the most part they live up to their namesake.

Do I care what they think about me? Some of them I do, but the greater majority (Hovering around 99.8%, repeating) I could really care less.

So go ahead and feel free to point, laugh, spam and troll.

People will see M.Pire in the middle of the mayhem soon enough.

On a side note, regardless of the outcome it was a rollicking couple of days in Branch, I had enough pew pew to last me for a couple of weeks... lol
